I dont write reviews after my purchase. But this TV is worth for the money paid and deserves review.

4k,HDR content - wow 5* looks amazing mainting at least 9 feet from tv to get wowified

HD channels - 5* ( will look brilliant if you tweak the backlit and black levels according to room brightness and surrounding lights)
SD - channels upscaling works perfectly and no jitter or laggy videos pretty decent on 55 inch

Sound- 3*Average through native speakers but can get the best output from home theater and soundbar

Apps - 5* all the required apps ( netflix, hotstar, prime, zee5 and others can be downloaded from Lg content store)

Magic remote - 5* no words must have gadget for smart TVs

Gaming console : PS4 perfect output for HDR 5*

Highlight : TV was wall mounted within 5 mins and not a single dust left on the floor. So much of professionalism and experience. Entire demo was given by the engineer

Note : Black level will be slightly high ( slightly greyish) in dark room . But with proper tweaking we can get max result out of it

  • Kevin Led TV - You get exactly what you pay for. This product has good picture and sound quality and SEEMS like a great value at its price point. The issue i think is with product testing. I got 3 defective tv's in the process of buying one!! The first one used to turn on automatically when you lose power and get it back. After replacing that I got one which didnt have the initial problem but had a defective HDMI port. After the second replacement I got back the initial defect i started with. Because of the pain i went through in the return process I decided to live with the problem.

  • I had earlier posted about the bad sound of the TV. Well after complaining, the manufacturer has replaced the product with a new one within 10 days, and the TV is working absolutely fine. No doubts on the picture quality and sound now. It has great quality at this rate.

An amazing TV at an amazing price
This is a great TV by Sanyo and at a great price. Super value for money.

1) Brand - The brand is Sanyo but Sanyo has been acquired by Panasonic and most of the manufacturing technology and servicing is done by Panasonic. So it is a good trustworthy brand from that perspective.

2) Screen panel - It is an IPS LED panel. Some cheap TV manufacturers play around with this and don't provide the IPS panel. No worries with Sanyo as it is an IPS panel which gives a clear and good quality picture. But don't expect 4K in this price. Picture quality and sharpness is pretty good and HD resolution is great. You will enjoy it a lot.

3) Speakers - I guess they did a good job in providing 20W speakers. If you put this in a large room given the size, these speakers will keep you happy. Unless you want super surround sound of a home theater or a soundbar, these speakers are more than enough in terms of output and clarity. There is decent bass as well. The earlier version and generally low priced TVs have less than 15W speakers and that too without Bass, so that is a great advantage in this case.

5) Free wall mount and quick installation - The TV comes with free wall mount and the installation request was raised by Amazon. Installation was quick and the engineer did a good job.

6) Buy a fire stick and convert this into a smart TV - I guess Smart TVs are overhyped. You can always buy a fire stick and enjoy all your content. Smart TVs usually cost a lot and then over time the processor slows down.

7) Clean finish - This TV has a clean finish and looks pretty good. The earlier version 7100 was not designed as well.

8) The price - I did some research on why this TV is priced so low. Generally, Imported TVs are costly due to import duties while Sanyo is manufactured in Dehradun. On top, there are excise benefits in the State and therefore price is lower.

So, the verdict is that the company, Sanyo, is not cutting any corners to sell you a great TV at a great price. The product is good with super features and there is one additional year of warranty with the TV. Buy separate warranty from Oneassist, two years will cost you some 2k and you can relax.

Good value for money
Used it for only 3 days. Happy with picture, sound, auto volume control, and various ports. Said to be 4 star AND work without the need for voltage stabaliser. Service engineer was punctual, competent, and courteous. Am happy (so far) that I chose this product over costilier other brands. Consider it.
